Little Red Rides the Wolf by Lara Santiago is a flowing, fast paced erotic sci-fi fairy tale with shape-shifting characters that draws you into the story and absorbs your attention effortlessly. It’s easy to believe what’s happening to Cheri and Caine. Even the nefarious Hunter, who is at times over the top like Cheri herself, is hard to resist. The sex between Cheri and Caine is almost instant, but through Ms. Santiago’s deft handling, it was a truly enjoyable scorching read and you know these two are destined to be together. You can feel the chemistry that springs between Cheri and Caine from their first meeting. This story is quirky, fun, and a quick read because you don’t want to put it down, with appealing characters and a fast-paced plot that sometimes doesn’t take itself too seriously, but rather lets the reader enjoy the fun journey with Cheri and Caine. With Little Red Rides the Wolf Ms. Santiago has written an excellent twist on a classic fairytale, with a writing style that flows easily and assuredly, absorbing you into this adult fairy tale from the first page. This is one story that I would gladly recommend for readers who enjoy their adult fairytales.
