The Wives Tales get 4 Stars from RT

THE WIVES TALES
by Lara Santiago

RT Rating:
Category: EROTICA
Publisher: Siren
Published: March 2007
Type: Erotic Romance (Futuristic, Anthology)

These slightly connected tales are exceptionally good. The characters are well developed despite the short format, and the world-building is well done, without being overwhelmingly technical. The heroes are everything that heroes should be, and the heroines are strong without losing their femininity.

Summary: Hannah Brent is sent to a moon of Mars as a bride to pay off a gambling debt incurred by her husband. Bought by miner Brutal, she finds him to be anything but what his name suggests, and he finds her to be an asset in "The Miner's Wife." Sophie Brent is auctioned off as a wife to her former boss in "The Executive's Wife," but his father stands in their path to happiness.

And if being sold in a bride auction isn't bad enough, Grace will lose custody of her daughter if no one bids on her in "The Lawman's Wife." It's lawman Jon Brent to her rescue. (Siren, Mar., 415 pp., $17.99)

Woo Hoo!!
I got my Romantic Times magazine in the mail today.
My favorite pages are...124, 125 and 126.
And page 125 has my The Blonde Bomb Tech cover. Yea!

Plus, my good friend, and fellow Siren author, Emma Wiles has a lovely full cover ad on page 131. :)
A fabulous issue if you ask me.
