TV Tuesday: Castle

Hey, has anyone been watching Castle? It stars Nathan Fillion as a best selling author who killed off the lead character in his popular crime thriller series and is now shadowing a female homicide detective, Kate Beckett, to get inspiration for a new book series.

It's funny and clever and the dialogue is great...plus...Nathan Fillion has had my rapt attention since Firefly/Serenity.

I've chatted about this show with several of my author friends and we all love it.

TV Tuesday : House

I love the show House. The acerbic Dr. Gregory House, played by Hugh Laurie, always solves the most unique medical cases.
I've always loved medical shows and this one is particularly funny and unusual.
The funniest thing for me is that his accent on the show is so awesome.
I didn't know he was British until I saw him on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Unlike his television character, he's polite and I adore his accent.

He's funny both on the show and off and multi-talented. He also play the piano and sings in a band. Recently I saw him perform with his band appropriatly named, "Band on TV." :) If you get a chance, check it out.

TV Tuesday : Burn Notice

Yes...I know. I've blogged about Burn Notice before. But it's my blog and I'll post what I want to. :):)
Good news bad news...Last week's season finale was awesome! Bad news...it's the last new show for awhile. But the good news is that new shows come back in June. Yea!!!

LOGLINE:
In the explosive season finale, Michael learns some surprising facts about Victor's past, and is forced to take on Carla in a final showdown.

SYNOPSIS:
Michael and Victor have secured a file they need to blackmail Carla and plan to take Victor’s boat to Cuba so they can lay low. When Carla arrives at the dock and the three face off. Things look bleak but Sam and Fiona show up just in time. But, it’s not over and Michael has to face Management in their helicopter, who are furious they’ve lost four operatives since they "recruited" Michael. Michael fires right back that he never asked for this and wants out. Management tells him he can get out right now by jumping, but he will no longer have any protection from his enemies. Will he jump and leave his future unknown?

TV Tuesday: The Amazing Race

One of only a very few favorite reality shows that I watch, The Amazing Race is awesome. I love the cool challenges and the travel to different countries. If I was in better shape, I might try out. :)

TV Tuesday : Lost

I adore Lost. I don't care if they leave me hanging from one week to another. That's what they are supposed to do. Answer questions from last week and then ask even more important ones that I'll twist in the wind all week wondering about. :) This is the mark of great television, in my opinion. I watch absolutely everything by JJ Abrams so I've been a Lost fan since the very first episode.

TV Tuesday : The Closer

Okay...well Another of my favorite shows has come back in January for my viewing pleasure. I adore Kyra Sedgwick in The Closer. Sigh.
It's smart. It's unexpected. I rarely figure out "whodunit" until the very end and I also adore the personal arc with Fritz her FBI boyfriend.
I've followed this show since the premier and it just gets better and better.
With a wedding coming soon...This season promises to be one of the best.

TV Tuesday : Medium

One of my favorite television shows has come back on the air to entertain me. Yea!!
It's Medium. Patricia Arquette stars as...yes you guessed it...she's a Medium...sort of.

Set in Phoenix, Arizona...Allison Dubois dreams about crimes and occasionally talks to the dead looking for clues to murders.
The best part for me is how she figures out how to interpret the dreams. Things aren't always as they seem. muwahahaha

TV Tuesday : Burn Notice

I'm implementing a new category to my blog posts called TV Tuesday. For my first entry of course I want to talk about Burn Notice. I'm certain no one is surprised. LOL

Did everyone watch last week's Thursday night (1-26-09) Burn Notice?
The one where Michael is helping the young football player get away from a car-stealing bully?

Can I just say I believe this was the BEST Burn Notice EVER!!! So great!!
I had it recorded (in HD) and managed to only watch it twice so far. :)
If I had the time, I'd keep watching it over and over again.

Come on. I dare you to name a better Burn Notice show. :)
